Greetings,
My 2001 VW Beetle GL with the 2.0 L engine and a manual transmission is repeatedly giving me a diagnostic trouble code of P1128. The code turns on the check engine light. I am reading the code with my personal diagnostic code reader. I get error code P1128 "Long term fuel trim B1 system too lean". At one point, I also had P0134 "O2 circuit no activity detected", but I've seen this code only once. P1128 occurs every 7 to 10 days. Does anyone have any recommendations? Personally, I am tempted to ignore this code as it doesn't seem too serious. I am having no other problems with the car. |
