Default Changed out the MAF and...

In my seemingly never ending quest to achieve the illusive no CEL, I bought a MAF from PAP-Parts(Link to part description) and installed it. It cleared up some of the driveability problems I've been having, but its still far from where it should be.
The CEL's that are coming up are:

17560- P1152
Bank1, Long Term Fuel Trim, Range 2 Leanness Lower Limit Exceeded

17573- P1165
Bank1, Long Term Fuel Trim, Range 1 Rich Limit Exceeded

17551- P1143
Load Calculation Cross Check Upper Limit Exceeded

17553- P1145
Mass or Volume Air Flow Circ Short to B+

The EPC light comes on under moderate acceleration(the power loss is VERY minimal) and the transmission shifts really hard and seems confused on what to do most of the time. And my redline has been dropped down to 5900rpms, for whatever reason, it wont rev past that and when it finally shifts, its really hard. And on the way to 5900, you can feel the car surging like its losing power, then getting it back, and so forth.

I've also replaced recently my pre-cat 02 sensor, coolant temp sensor, and also had the water pump, timing belt, serpentine belt changed. I had all that done while it was down for a blown headgasket.

I ordered a new fuel filter and an air filter from AMSOIL(doesnt use oil to filter the air) and I will clean the new MAF just incase the K&N got some oil on it. But I did unplug the MAF to see if it ran different, and it ran like dog ****, so I dont think the MAF is bad.

Me too, this problem is really bugging me(no pun intended) And I almost got plowed into the other day when I was trying to pass someone on a 2 lane road, it started to act up and wouldnt go anymore and their wasnt any room to squeeze back in, so I had to make some room

Have you replaced the vacuum lines?

The fuel trim problem could be attributed to that.

For the short try cleaning the connection at the MAF with some fine sandpaper, electrical contact cleaner, etc. and put a little dielectric(sp.?) grease on the connection. You may need to trace that ground and clean the connection at the other end too.

I have no clue what the other thing is--Load Calculation? ...

Oh, there are 3 vacuum lines on a 2.0L and 3' will do the job. Get some high quality silicone lines from ECS--I expect some to arrive for my wife's 2.0L on Friday. I did the TB & WP on Bluenote (thread The Saga of BlueNote) over the weekend and watched Fowvay and Toad do the vacuum lines in about 2 minutes!

I had the one vacuum line replaced that goes from the IM to the FPR, where are the other 2?

And I'll be cleaning the MAF as soon as my new air filter and fuel filter arrives, I want to make sure this K&N isnt causing all the problems...

They come from behind the engine and attach to a fitting up on the right side of the firewall (viewed from the front)
