Thumbs up Parts parts parts... where is the best place online

It is becoming quite obvious to me that I will be able to resolve most of the issues with my bugs mystery cooling issues with and little investigative work and a few replacement parts.

Is there a concensus about where is the best place online to buy the parts? I have going over to the stealership in Savannah to buy stuff because I aways end up forgetting something.

Please give actual addresses for online parts houses please

Bug loves you guys!

There is no "BEST" place...

But here's some links to parts houses.

Parts, Accessories and supply Links.

np; they're in alphabetical order... but the ones I use mostly are:

parts4vws.com
autotech.com / autotechparts.com
germanautoparts.com (call them if you don't see it on their website)
1stvwparts.com
ecstuning.com

I have used most of the ones Ron mentioned above. I have a few more links in my SilverSportNOLA thread link below, as well as some tech links.

Exclamation 1stVW

Go to www.1stvwparts.com They are really cheap and are a VW dealership in CA. Some and most parts are 50%-40% off your local stealership. They noticed how we were getting ripped off from other dealers and started a website selling th parts cheaper. A mass air flow meter was going to cost me a little over $100 not including labor and I think I got it for $69 through them. I needed a new wireless ketless remote for my car...local dealer was charging $149 and they charged $72. Just incredible savings. I love those guys.

Tyra, I am so sorry. The website is www.1stvwparts.com
That should get your there. They are the best I have found so far. It is better to call sometimes...esp if you aren't sure of the part or if it isn't listed. They have two websites...parts and accessories...if you call they can combine the orders. I finally got a nice roof rack because it was like several $100 cheaper through them. Their customer service is really good and I have ordered several parts from them this month. I have bought many parts I needed that I have been waiting years to replace...little things...they were so cheap I just bought everything and I will be fxing the bug up this weekend.
