Default VIN checking..

This may not be the correct area to be posting this, if not I apologize. What Im wondering is there a way to "extract" any info from a VIN such as trim levels, or optional features? I will end up trading out my Grand Prix for an NB, and on the GP's you can basically get alot of info out of a VIN.

Thanks
!

Anyone with a Bentley CD can do that.
I have one at the house...you'd have to PM me the VIN.

Cool, you wouldn't mind running it for me?

I'd be much appreciative.

Well, it's tonite.

It didn't give me a trim level - We need the help of the '98 community here to help you figure out what exactly you have.
(I sent you the full data in the PM)

I did get that it was a 1998 2.0 - but the place where the trim level is designated on my VIN nothing shows up on yours.

Hmmm...

'98 folks, What different trim packages were offered in 98?
