Very interesting.
I will see what kind of engine code I have on Bugje.
But what I am wondering is, why does a person need to know the engine code?

At my local dealership I asked them to key in my VIN number in their computer and give me the readout...It tells just about everything.

I needed the engine code on my '98 to get the AC compressor, then they had to actually look at the compressor, apparently there were 3 different compressors that year.
