Default Fan Issues???? Should I be concerned

I have kind of a werid situation because it only happened once but I want to make sure it doesnt happen again and cause harm to my bug.
On Saturday I drove it about an hour and shut it off then a few min later my boyfriend moved it and when he turned it off the fan was still running very loud as if the car was running, im like turn the car off and hes like it is. So I turned it back on and then shut it off and then it was quiet. This only happened once but is that normal ....it was around 85 out was it just wanting to cool it down more or what? Any suggestions would be great.

There is a thermoswitch in the radiator that keeps the fan running until the temperature of the coolant falls below a set point. On a hot day, El Buggo's fan will run for between 30 secs to 2 minutes after the engine is off.

I agree, it is not only normal to do that but its a much better concept than older cars that just let it boil until it cooled off enough.
