a) go to autozone and ask them to use an OBD (on board diagnostics) reader.
b) buy one. ($200-$300 for a good one; $40 for a bare bones 'almost helps' one. [clears codes, doesn't really help much in regards to finding the source of the problem though]) c) find someone in your area that has one. There's a few lists on here of vag-com owners who are willing to help out others by scanning other peoples cars for them. |
