A friend has a 2004 cabrio 2.0 that needs a new oil pan (bottomed out and punched a hole). I've determined it doesn't have an oil level sensor. The dealer need the VIN to determine the correct pan and said there are two different non-oil level sensor pans. An online store sells a replacement that is said to fit all 99 up 2.0 New Bettle's. Anyone know what the difference is between the two dealer oil pans? Thanks.
