Default Question - high RPM!!

Hi, all

I guess RPM is usually much higher than other.
for example, RPM is over 3000 at speed 65mi and 3500 at 70mi above.

Is this common or unusual situation?

That's about right. I always think a 6th gear would give us all really really great mileage. I wish it was an easy bolt on mod.

Thats about right for my automatic tranny although I usually push it to about 4100 on the highway which puts me at about 90 mph.

6 speed doesnt help the 1.8t that much

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

My 1.8T manual tranny is around 3500 at 70. Normal I think.
