2001 New Beetle engine codes?

Hi there,

Was wondering what the different engine codes mean?

AVH
AZG
AEG <--- thought I am not sure if that applies.

According to sparkplugs.com AVH and AZG use the same sparkplugs while AEG uses different kind of plugs?
