Got Lucky...
No not that...
HiLighters (I chose to keep the name as it fits so well) CEL light came  on last week when a rattle developed,  so I got to use the VAG-COM I purchased for the first time  and the code was P0422 and CAT pops into my mind.  I was concerned  about replacing the CAT as it can get expensive, but I remembered something about an extended warranty that VWoA mentioned in the e-mail they sent me regarding the brake switch recall.So I inquired again and found out the CAT control module (did not know it had one) expired in April but the CAT itself was eligible for the 10 year 120K warranty extension...  and got it done for  FREE!!
