Lightbulb back up lights

can anyone tell which fuse is for the backup lights ? the card in the fuse box is no help. if its not the fuse is there something else i should check ? I replaced the lights so i know its not them. thanks guys

What about the reverse switch; this would be the switch thats turns the lights on when you put your car in reverse.

so that switch would be somewhere on the transmission ? any help would be great.

If the fuse for the backup lights is gone then your speedo (only the speed needle) won't work. If I remember correctly it's funse #7, 5A minifuse. (My wife has the NB right now so I can't check)...

Is your NB an automatic or manual?

Looking at the electrical schematic, there is a huge difference.

Fuse #7 (10A) supplies the main power to the lights, but there is another fuse (#31, 20A) that looks like it is used in autos.

There is a Back-up Light Switch on Manuals, for autos it looks like there are some solid-state control modules and a relay involved.
