Applying hood emblem

My hood emblem came off my 98 Bug at the car wash today. It is flat, no posts to mount to the hood. Looks like there was glue or some kind of adhesive. Can anyone tell me what to use to glue it back on?

My ford truck emblem fall off about a year ago and I went to the auto parts store to find the answer to that very same question. I found out that there is a special exterior trim glue (it's alot like the two part epoxy for the rear view mirror]. It only took minutes to glue it back on. It hasn't moved since and it's the one on the tail gate. I just read the instruction on the package,it was alot easier than I thought it would be. Hope that helped.(Cost was 3.79 at the time)

Just use some 3m doublestick,Thats what I used. you can see it on the car at the "feedback thread" I posted for D2Beetle

I just used clear silicone to glue mine back on.
