Default Cylinder Misfires

So I did an OBD test and got cylinders 1,3, and 4 misfiring. The coilpack, plugs, and wires have already been replaced but why 1,3,and 4 and not 2....I don't feel the stuttering or anything of that nature even when I give it good throttle.

If you have been driving for some time with cylinders misfiring there is a big chance your new spark plugs and injectors are dirty. Pour a small bottle of upper cylinder cleaner ( Lucas ) in a full tank and practice "Italian Tunning" more often . Yeah, it might be crank shaft sensor or cam shaft sensor but then you will have misfiring only on 1st and 4th or 2nd and 3rd cylinder. Before investing in more parts, check all the electrical connections for loose wires and make sure everything is plugged and no wires are cracked.
Good luck

my Jetta is doing the same thing. I have changed the plugs, wires, all belts, cap, coil is semi new. The 02 sensor is giving me a code an someone mentioned that could be the root of the problem. Here is my post over at the vortex, it might help, might not: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3705078
