Post Best Exhaust system for 2.0

Ok everyone, i'm not the type to leave a car too stock, so i have been looking at exhaust systems. I already did the short air intake mod. Crancase filter too (because the stupid thingy going to the intake tube had a HUGE vacuum leak), and i want it to have a little more exhaust note. I'm a BIG gear head, and i would rather listen to the intake/exhaust sounds any day than the radio usually! I also want to see the dang thing at the back of the car, not tuck it away behind the bumper, well, at least see the tips.

So, Lets see some pics of how you guys have yours done and what you think about it!

I my Remus exhaust.
I also had the resonator removed.
The sound is throaty, but unobtrusive at low rpm's - just the way I wanted it.
The exhaust note reminds me of an older Carerra
There's some pics and link to sound clip in my sig below:

That remus sounds awesome. I couldn't stop druling over it And the tips looks like a antiaircraft cannons at the back I heard many nice things for the Borla cat-back from tectonics tuning, and borla came out with the new muffler last year... BORLA HUSH. They say it's even more quiet than stock and gives you the same performance gains as other high flow systems. Do your research online, find the exhaust with the tone that you like the best, cause it all comes down to the sound of the car and with 2L engine gains are going to be minimal but noticeable.
Go stainless steel, and keep the size 2.25

Good luck

I run a stainless Magnaflow catback and I get compliments all the time about how great it sounds. "Best sounding Dub in town" according to one of my buddies who's running a Techtonics Tuning exhaust with a Borla.

I paid under $500 shipped to my door from hottexhaust.com. You can always find coupon codes for that site and the discount makes Magnaflow stuff a really good buy.

Default front muffler

Has anyone just taken the front resonator/muffler out of the system, Does it make a big difference in sound?

I've got a Hartmann-Motorsport muffler. Sounds quiet nice

In august I'll finally get to mount my Supersprint mid-silencer.

Though - I think you'd have to import a Hartmann-Motorsport muffler into the US.

Sure made a big difference going from a resonator with a farty hole in it
