Hey everyone, I just bought a 2003 beetle convertible, but it didnt include a owners manual. I cant find anywhere what kind of oil it takes, please help me. Its the 2.0

I don't use synthetic. Older cars don't really benefit from it and it tends to eat up the old seals. I also switch oils depending on the season. During the hot Georgia summers, I use a thicker oil like 10w-40. In the not-so-harsh winter I use a thinner oil like 5w-30. This is my own logic and even if it's wrong, the car hasn't changed at all. It's safe to say that, with these cars at least, pretty much any standard oil will work well.
