The clutch lasted for a year, but it was because the flywheel cracked. I had a bad driving habit of letting the clutch out in neutral when waiting at stoplights because someone told me that it was better for the car.

Anyway, I upgraded to an ECS stage 1 VR6 clutch with a lightened G60 pressureplate and it only set me back $1000 installed.

WHAT?!!! You are not supposed to let the clutch out in neutral???!!!!
I don't believe that!!! This calls for a big discussion.
I do that all the time and I keep the clutch pressed down only if I have to, and in shortest time possible.
