My '02 Beetle has an annoying brake groan when releasing the brake pedal after a stop or from initial movement. Seems like calipers are sticking just a bit in the full extended position. It's not just 1 caliper because I can hear all 4 if I pay attention to it. Brakes pads and rotors are relatively new so I know it's not related to them. Brakes work perfect when driving the car without any pull or noises. It's just when leaving from a stopped position and releasing the brake pdeal....RRRRRRRRRRR until car is moving.
Anyone else? |
