Default 2004 & Up Hazard Light / Switch Replacement (above stereo)

VW gave me a part number of IC0953513A, and I took off the lower switch panel and the 8 torx screws, but it seems the whole panel that surrounds the radio needs to be popped off and it is sticking at the radio.

Do I pop the trim panel off the radio and there are two torx screws there also or ?

Thank you!

EDIT: Heads up, the 1998-2003 Hazard switch is a foot lower in dash, below stereo. Thanks!

You have to pull the radio. You will need radio removal keys to pull it. (I got mine at wal-mart in the car audio section)
There are 2 screws under the radioholding the middle of the center dash panel. Also if this is not the radio that came in the car and is a VW radio you must have the radio code to reset the radio after it loses power. If it is the oem radio that came in the car it will auto reset when power is restored. (The radio code comes from a number on the radio and the VIN from the donor car. There are sites which will send it to you for a fee. Or if you are lucky a dealer will give it to you.Mine wanted 25 bucks so since it was original to the car I passed.)
