Question Change brake light bulb

Got stopped and given a ticket for an inop brake light. The other works fine as well as the rest of the lights, so I'm assuming it's just the bulb. How easy are these to replace myself? Hubby is fairly handy, but wouldn't touch the headlamp replace when I needed it because he knew it was a pain in the butt. He'll do this one if it's not too bad.

It's really easy! There's a how-to on here somewhere. It shouldn't take you more than a few minutes to figure it out.

I agree. An outed tail light is a warning at BEST. Unless he thought the driver was speeding or being trouble...which i doubt.

TYou need to get that man in line - replacing the bulb on this thing is one of the easiest repairs you'll EVER find on a bug, and the $2 you'll spend is a lot better than $65 at the $tealership.

Is he absolutely mechanically incompetent?

No Doubt!!!! TJ has left a ever lasting presence on the ORG.
He will always be missed by his many friends.
Awesome to think that his quirky wisdom is still alive and kicking......I think of him when ever I see someone wearing a pair of Chuck Taylors.
