Default Best oil filter

I recently changed my oil and used a Fram filter, and ever since I've got a bad leak at the filter (it didn't leak before). Any suggestions on the best oil filter to use would be greatly appreciated ('99, 2.0). I've got to get this thing replaced ASAP!

I use Mann Filters on my '99 2.0. I get them from a local parts place. No problem with them. Not OEM, but OEM quality. Good stuff.

Wix filters are good, too. Purolator,Baldwin, Hastings are also good.

A leak around the filter can often times be double gaskets.

When you pulled the old filter off, did the rubber gasket come off with it?

Last week I lost 6qts of oil in my Jeep within 2 miles for this exact reason.

I've had that happen, too. But it showed up as a massive, unmistakable leak upon engine start-up.
