Exclamation VERY bad oil leak

Hey everyone my girlfriends NB has a very bad oil leak. we havent looked for the location but there is a huge puddle at my house and you could see where she backed up and turned around and it left a line going up my driveway and down the street for at least 50 feet. what are some possible fixes ranging from the cheapest to the most expensive.

Uhh, stop driving it for one.

It could be from a cracked oilpan, a leaking oil cooler... Just get under there and see where it's coming from.

Ditto times A MILLION. If it's leaving a puddle and a line that's 50 feet long, it'll be damn near out of oil at the end of the line.

Check where the oil filter screws on. It's possible you have two o-rings and they're making it leak.

What was done recently to the car before it started leaking? Did you take it to Jiffy Lube for an oil change, or something silly like that?
