things not working - very strange

I picked up some power window switches at a salvage yard and replaced the ones in my wife's car.

Tried them out and they don't work. Sunroof doesn't work either.

Fuses appear to be good.

Strange.

have you tried reversing the wire connections? Seems like this happened to me once.

I didn't think of that. It seemed that the connections fit so well. I didn't think you could connect them in reverse.

I had some stereo work done on my 01 back in the day. The custom shop I used put the wires on backwards and nothing worked. Took it back and the reversed them and everything worked correctly.

I tried to use the old switches which worked before. Still none of the window switches work.
