Default Droppin' the clutch to start...

I goofed and left my headlights on and the battery was just about dead, I had a friend give me a push and I dropped the clutch to start the car. The car immediately went into freak out mode - oil light and break light flashing along with the 'you're low on gas beep' as well as the battery light and a few others. The cars been running fine until the pop start. I was wondering if maybe the car went into freak out 'you tried to steal me mode.' Anyone ever heard of this?

Edit: I was also thinking maybe it just didn't have enough power to read the systems....

You really should get a battery charger on there and charge it properly. The alternator is designed to maintain the battery, not charge it from dead. Most likely you will be OK, but keep it in mind for the future - it's a common way to overheat and kill your alternator. Of course, when you are stuck somewhere, you do what you can.

If the battery voltage is real low you will get all sorts of warning lights.
