Default Red temp light's blinking & beeping

I have 2.0 (1999) and I have this over heating showing (RED TEMP) in my car started 3 weeks ago, and I changed the thermostat, fan switch and the water pump (the old water pump blade is broken into 2pcs) well i thought i solved it ,But NO ,the red light came on again. Ive noticed that the Big fan didn't turn on,then I checked and turn on the HEATER inside the car ,its not even warming.( A/C works fine)not sure what else causing it. Pls Help

Flashing red generally indicates low coolant level. Steady red means overheating.

I doubt if it's something as simple as a clogged hose.

Sounds more like a stuck thermostat, failed water pump or fan control switch

How long did you run it originally with the engine overheating?

You could have warped the head and cooked the head gasket originally when the water pump went out.

You're stoned. He is boiling the coolant (or compression is pressurizing it) even after replacing the water pump and other things he mentioned.

Head needs to be pulled and checked for straightness before installing new gasket.

i say put a new water pump in it and if you dont lose any coolant through they cylinders then your fine....no need to spend money that may not be necessary. if you burn coolant then replace the head gasket....you will know if you have white smoke coming from the cars exhaust...might even see water from where the head sits on the block

Well I didnt ran that far (less than 3 miles and I just replaced the waterpump, and all that I mention. Then my coolant looks like its gets empty so fast ,. is that means Im burning the coolant ,there is no leaks anywhere that I can see..So I think the HEAD GASKET THEN.

is the car smoking? if the car isnt smoking then you probably are not burning coolant. with the car off fill the tank and then let it warm up with the heater on. if you ad more then 2 gallons then your losing it somewhere and yes it could be the head gasket.

i just dont think your gasket is bad

Check your coolant flange, its on the driver side of the engine under the airbox, they are notorious for leaking, mine was leaking horribly till I fixed that. As for the heater Ide say you have alot of air in the lines and not enough coolant, turn the car on, jack heat up and keep filling it till it wont take anymore.
