Default neuspeed cam and other ?'s

ok i have a question for everybody out there i'm thinking about getting a neuspeed cam for my 2.0 i already have a neuspeed p-flo and a magnaflow catback exhaust and i was just wondering how much more of a diffrence the cam would make? i also am thinking about getting the neuspeed chip but the thing i dont like about that is having to take to computer out and shipping it to them any body know if the chip is worth it with everything else i have done or plan to do. i want to go with a supercharger at sometime but i cant afford a new one and cant find a used on either so if anybody could help with that that would be awsome too.

sorry for the long post and thanks in advanced to everyone
Mike

The only thing out of your list of stuff that I really have any opinion (or knowledge ) on is the supercharger. In my opinion, save up and get a new SC, or don't get one. With a used one, you'll have no idea how the old owner treated the car, and forced induction is not something I would want to chance things with.

Ask Jordan (aka SMG) about his supercharger. I'm sure he LOVES it.

I have the neuspeed cam in my car and it makes a noticeable difference in power and didnt affect MPG hardly at all.

stock = 30mpg no matter what I did
cam only = 30mpg most of the time, 29 if I beat on it
supercharger, cam, TT 2.25" exhaust = 25mpg if I granny it which is pretty hard to do. The whine is addictive.

I've been considering a motor swap so the right dollar amount might pry the supercharger out from under my hood.

Get the Techtonics 260 cam. It's better and costs less than the Neuspeed cam.

As for the SC, it was fun but now I'm going turbo. My bug should be putting down 250whp by mid-April, it's at the shop now getting built.

New Supercharger is a nice upgrade.
Neuspeed cam on a 2.0 is a nice upgrade.

Avoid the chip (they don't even offer one for 2.0's, but avoid their 1.8t chips too.)
Avoid used turbos/superchargers.

The Neuspeed SC chip works fine. Their 1.8T chips might suck but I never had trouble with my Neuspeed tune.

autotech 270 cam is hands down the best cam for your hydro head...no matter if your boosted or NA

The main difference is price though. For the 270 you're looking at $450 to swap to the upgraded valve springs. The TT260 is a drop-in, $120 for the cam and that's all you need for parts.

well how much of a diffrince am i looking between the tt 260 and the autotech 270 performance wise and what would be the best chip to get for either is there not even a chip for the 2.0 nb because if i cant get a chip wont the extra performance of the 270 be worth it with the mods i already have

you will see probably like 5-7 more then the 260....and the rage of the curve will be longer then the 260. but like he said you do need new lifeters (you need them with the 260 too), new HD valve springs and new retainers....parts will set you back 450 on the 270 and if you cant install it on your own then your lookin at a bit more.

GIAC i think makes a good chip for the 2.0 as does unitronic. i think both of them can adjust for the mods that you have done to your car.
