Default no heat inside my 2002 2.0 Beetle

I am having the same trouble with my 2002 2.0 Beetle. I replaced the Thermostat, water pump and flushed the cooling system, with super flush. i am still getting no heat form the heater. I even tired flushing the heater core itself, before I used coolent flush. My A/C works fine and both fans come on when it is on too.I also replaced the temp switch by the heater hose area. any suggestions of why i haven't any heat? Of course i could wait till winter again
to fix this problem, but why not fix it now.

Two things come to mind.

1, You might have an air bubble in the cooling system and that's keeping you from developing enough hot coolant to heat the cab. You can "burp" the system by removing the temp sensor while you fill the system.

2. Blocked heater core or pinched hose leading to the core.

Default heater problem

my heater is working now since the plug in the heater hose before
the cooling sensor, blew on my way home yesterday.I drove my car to work for the first time in a week and a half.On my way to work
everything was fine, except coolent was a little low.No problem
I added enough to bring it up to the correct mark.On my way home
about more than half way there, the red temp. light started flashing! i pulled over in a parking lot, opened the hood, antifreeze everywhere! The plug you use to let air escape when re-filling the cooling system, had blown out! I found it and put it back in.I then drove to the dealer to buy a new o-ring for the plug. Now I am getting heat. maybe some more air escaped?
My cooling fans work only when the A/C is on. I never hear the fans come on without the A/C being on.Could a switch be out?
