What bushings were replaced? Lower control arm? Front control arm? Swaybar?

Failing ball joints could also make squeaking noises.

Probably the sway bar bushings need to be greased.

Occasionally; all your bushings need to be greased. There's no fittings for them, you just have to get to them and apply a lil' lube. After 7 years, it's probably just worked itself out.

cheers for the ideas guys. the sounds stopped for a while so i stopped caring, but now they are back. it seems like in the warm dry weather this is when they are worst. what do you all think it could be then. if it is that they just need greasing i will book the car in for a lube service.

can i reopen this thread. I had all of the bushes on the front end of the car replaced last week because its hot here and the squeaking has got out of hand. Now however it has returned after being gone for a week. Does anybody have any idea on what else the problem could be... it must be something to do with the suspension because it disappeared after everything was replaced, but have no idea on what else it could be.

any ideas...

thank you

dry bushings make noise. apply grease to the parts that rub/move. if it only happens when you go over bumps, try just doing this to your sway bar bushings and endlinks first. That may be enough.

Could be dry bushings. Could be decaying strut mounts.
