Angry A/C clutch not engaging, High fan on off repeatedly with new Fan control module

I am having trouble with A/C. I have already replaced my Fan Control Module with genuine VW part. But the fan is cycling on and off frequently with fan speed high when I don't turn on A/C.

When I turn on the A/C the fan would run none stop at high.

The clutch would not engage. Sometime the clutch would suddenly engage after I drove the car for about 5 minutes. Then it would went off anytime.

When the clutch engages the A/C is very cold.

Checked all fuses on top of battery as well as internal fuse box.

Do you think my Thermo Fan Switch has to do with A/C not functioning and fan acting weird?

Please please please somebody help me trouble shoot. Its 100F the other day and I feel like sitting in an oven.

Thanks advance.

Unhappy

I jump the wires for low speed fan but I get the same speed as high speed fan with ignition switch to on and AC/ on with low blower fan.

I have 3 fan control modules. All of them behaving the same way. So I don't know where the problem is.

I checked voltage at the Compressor 2 PIN connector I have 4.8 V.

I don't think its enough to engage the AC Clutch.

I have tried G65 high pressure switch jumping and I got a fuse blown. Mine is 3 pin connector.

Have any one gone through the same thing as me?

I don't know if the NB has the same relay as the Passat, but I had a similar issue that was a 2 minute fix. It is relay number 384.

Someone may have a post somewhere that lists the relays and their functions for the NB.

try to change g65 high pressure valve... i also have the situation like you... but mine read 9volts to the compressor

i already checked my fuses and relays but nothing happened, then i bought a new j293, i replaced it but it won't kick the clutch, then i finally changed the high pressure and it works,

I had a similiar problem. I had 8.8 volts to the air conditioner compressor. It turned out to be a failed high pressure valve for the air conditioner that leaked out all the freon. I replaced the valve, recharged the system and now it works well.
