Default AC Question
I have a 2000 Beetle with the 2.0. When I press the recirculation button for the AC, the air drops almost to zero cooling and little if any flow from the vents.

Sounds like a vacuum hose problem. Any suggestions?

Off the top of my head, check the lever for the Blend Door.
