Can someone tell me how the plastic engine cover is removed.
I see 2 screws at the back but cant tell by looking how the front comes off and I dont want to break any plastic. |

Remove the caps, one left and one right of the dip stick and you will see a bolt; there is one at the rear left. Just loosen it and the cover will slide out.

That's why I love the cover in the 2002's and up.
You reach in, lift the front up from two grommets (just pops off) and you pull forward and it slides right out. My 1998 was a pain in the booty with those little screws ![]()
