need advice on coolant change-need advice ASAP!

I just got done running prestone super cleaner through my cooling system on my '98 NB,rinsed all of the flush out and I'm getting ready to add fresh coolant.I have a gallon of straight dex-cool I bought from work & a gallon of distilled water.If I read the Bentley correctly the cooling system capacity is 5 liters or just over 5 quarts.Replaced the radiator,thermostat,water pump (last year) & ALL hoses.I have heard stories either way about dex-cool(most of the bad stories are due to people using tap water).The only place in town that sells G12 besides the dealer is NAPA.I just want to get this done today.Is G12 & dex almost the same stuff? I'm kinda stuck on this & need advice to proceed.Thanks in advance!

I see that deserion used peak global coolant,but no one around here sells it

G12 is the best to use. I personally wouldn't use anything else.

get prestone universal. it can and will mix with any existing g12 left in the system. i personally prefer peak, but in a pinch, i have used prestone with no ill effects (and this was on a 500hp turbo r32). i think it's still got it in the system 3 years later.

OK cool thanks Cheat...I just got back from autozone & traded them the jug of dexcool I had with prestone universal yellow...I have always used distilled water to fill & flush a system with & never had any problems.w00t!
