I saved some money and just put a drop of super glue on it then plugged it back in.

When I thought of the expense of a whole new cable I just superglued it. It's been holding ever since.

some of these cars have anti theft and if you replace the battery you have to have the anti theft code and then the computer will let you start your car. Best bet is to take it to the VW dealer, they have the code, and reprogram the computer because you will now start getting engine codes for some reason. Must be the way VW wanted it so we couldnt fix it ourselves.

We have had two beetles at our shop to do body work and when we disconnected the battery then reconnected it after the job was finished they would not start. If you know so damn much what the hell was it cause we had to take them to the VW dealer and thats what they told us.
