Default Thoughts on Zimmerman -vs- Brembo rotors

Its time for new rotors! Quite simply put.

Zimmermans appear to be good quality. We all know of Brembo.
(i assume) In any case, anybody used Zimmerman products?

I ask because they are significantly cheaper, and yet quality appears to be "top-notch".

Anybody rollin this setup?

Also, has anybody converted the stock Beetle spindles, to the Audi TT 288mm spindles?

Zimmerman's are decent for an average driver. If you are very agressive you might want to spend the $$ for Brembo. Actually, the spindles from any Mk.4 car w/ a 1.8T or VR6 are the same. You can put the larger TT front brakes on for pretty cheap once you have "upgraded" your spindles and calipers. Start hunting the salvage yards.

Pretty common conversion and quite straightforward.

BTW I would stick to Brembo personally, never heard of or used Zimmerman but that may just mean they use a different brand name in the UK or arenīt over here at all...

I tore up some zimmermans using mintex red box pads.

I've since sworn off both. They ate through and did wayy too much damage, way too fast.

Just replaced rear brake pads, calipers and Zimmerman Rotors... great product and great price! I've had no problems.
