Default Where is the second 02 sensor

Forgive me, but I normally work on TDI's. So my question may seem stupid. I am trying to help with a 2.0 liter AVH in a 2001 New Beetle. Originally, the car had a bad cat cel and a fuel trim cel. I replaced the cat and the o2 sensor at the rear of the cat. The original cat only had 1 o2 sensor hole, so I installed the same type cat and put in a new o2 sensor. Good news, no more cat cels. bad news is that I'm still getting a fuel trim cel. When I use the Vag-Com is shows a pre cat o2 sensor reading and the voltage is 1.5V and it is supposed to be no more than 1.0V. So, long story short, I assume I have a second o2 sensor to change but can't find it. It's not on the cat. any one got a picture. I've searched the forums and some say New Beetles only have 1 others say there's 1 on the exhaust manifold. the Vag clearly shows two o2 sensor readings. Any help greatly appreciated.

Mine was on the end of the down pipe just before the cat.

Should be in the downpipe just before the CAT.... Could be different on your engine code though... If it's not there it might be in the back of the exhaust manifold but not sure of that as i have an 98 AEG engine code....GL...KP...
