Nobody was splitting hairs here..lol..sorry you just don't "get it". Argue facts and twist them as you choose. Things break, gases wear out over time sure, but no....there's no filiment to burn out...that's all my point was. I'm finding this forum to attract bore people who like to argue as a sport. Not all mind you, but it seems to be more everyday. Now...argue amungst yourselves.

You are out of line.

Don't be so critical of terminology. "Burning out" is a colloquialism of sorts that refers to a light that no longer works IMHO.

Canadianbug thought you meant the bulb will last forever, you chose to make a big deal out of the terminology, and it escalated. I'm sure this thread will get locked now because of it.

I apologize for being so terminology critical Canadian. No need to lock anything.
BTW, I re-enabled the DRLs and they work just fine with nothing extra needed.

Really?! The voltage difference on the bug must be so small that the ballast (or at least your ballasts) can handle it... what happens when you turn the switch to "ON" then? Do they flicker at all?

My saturn had a big enough difference that they went berserk when the DRLs were running. Flickering and spiking all funny colored lol...

hmmm... i might re-enable mine to see if my ballast are decent enough to handle it...

I said they work..lol..now lets see if they last. For the $50 or so that I paid for them from DDM, I think i'll see what happens. Now if these were a $300 set, I think I'd keep the DRLs disabled.

Might as well have not asked the question in the first place....American. Asking a question and answering it yourself is annoying and a waste of my time...

Turn on the headlights, and pull out on the switch.

Fog lights turned on.

I disabled my daytime driving lights by just putting electrical tape over the pins. just incase I wanted them back. Other than that no one really flashes me for my 5000k 35W bulbs.

(sorry if someone said something just like this haha)
