2.0 to 2.5
I'm sort of embarrased to ask this question, but someone asked me today, and I didn't know the answer. I decided that my friends on the ORG would know. Can you swap out a 2.0 for a 2.5? Will the 2.5 fit in the earlier models? I assume if it is a yes, then the tranny comes with it? Thanks in advance...

yes, you can.
best to find a rear-ended 06-10 car, you need EVERYTHING electrical. i did the swap last year into a jetta wagon, nooooo picnic.

Thanks Justin, I was just curious, I'm not planning on it, but you never know. Makes sense to have to replace the electrical stuff. I wish I could do things like that, If I start to try, I usually make it worse and it would end up costing more
