Speed Sensor Issue
Hi! I need to replace the Speed Sensor on my 2.0 Beetle 2000(manual trans). Has anyone here ever replaced it themselves? I'd like to know where it's located on the vehicle and also the degree of difficulty to install a new one.
Always appreciate the help!

Remove the SAI pump and follow the cable from the connector just to the left of the SAI pump connector. The sensor is located tucked in behind the oil cooler/filter mounting flange assembly. It is quite fiddly to get to...one allen bolt from memory IIRC
