Do your fans work correctly? There are many threads lately about AC problems of various types so I'd search around.
As far as the brake, was the car on ramps or jack stands? Have you tried to use it since? What happens when you try to use it?

Thanks for the reply. Yes I looked every where but no one with the same speed related issue. I think i read all ac threads... took me hours and still no hope. It was on stands. The hand break needs to be tightened. Se wll roll out of my driveway with the hand break fully up, if not in gear. The problum is i lifted the frount end and without a hand break the back wheels were free to roll. I tried tigtening it, I got the cover off but then i had no clue from there. I heard it was a weird combo of tightening and pressing the break maybe. |

I think there was a thread somewhere about handbrake adjustments. In the meantime, you should park your car in gear. I would never rely on just the hand brake in a manual car. Mine is always parked with the hand brake and put in 1st gear.

Under the middle console where the hand brake is located you will see (2) steel cables, one on the left and one on the right. They are both held on with sort of a butterfly bracket. Withe the brake off (down) and on level ground you can adjust either side by tightening the middle bolt on the bracket. Chances are your cables probably have slid off of the calipers or they are worn and need replacing.
Hope this helps GIINK |
