Perform the leak down test and let us know the results.

Do you mean 12% on cyl 4? What was it on the others? by design the valve should rotate during use to even out wear, you may have a slightly out of round seat/valve such that in some position(s) it leaks more and some less, that may be why the issue comes and goes...

Before Id go all crazy, Id move the coil and plugs to different cylinders and see if the code follows either one of the parts. Say move the coil to #3 and plug to #1, drive and see what happens.

Another thing you might have going on is some carbon deposit on the seat. SeaFoam works awesome as does plain old water, adding it while the engine is running (numerous methods)....water reeks havoc on carbon and makes things shiny new!

Where all have you looked? ECS tuning and Germanautoparts both have head gaskets for sale. ECS has a kit. GAP has the gasket and head bolts.

How long for the GAP parts? I've never had a problem getting parts from them quickly.
