He took out my right rear fender. Luckily they have insurance and everything should be taken care of.
I went through their insurance company for the repairs because I didn't want to bother my company but remembered my economics class and how that decision could cost me. The repair guy seemed to identify the body parts that needed to be replaced but now I hear some sound like there is a vacuum leak coming from the gas tank. Hopefully that will be taken care of as the shop did say their work is guaranteed. I was thinking about putting an extra CV boot I have for the beetle on the right inner tomorrow. |

I got my beetle back a couple days ago and the repairs seem okay. I'm glad I went through their insurance company, not only because I didn't have to pay the deductible, but also because when the repair facility screwed the insurance company it was theirs and not mine.
For some reason the cup holder in the front of the gear selector got broken and I pointed that out to the repair facility so that will now have to be fixed. What a pain. |
