Angry A/C Blower fan fuse is blown?

I have an 02 Beetle 2.0 that I just purchased for my wife and I the a/c is ice cold and the fan selector switch was on #3 when I was driving the car yesterday. I pulled into my parking spot and was looking at the different switches in the car and decided to put the fan switch on #4 and bam no more air. compressor was cycling and all but no fan. so I quicky found the blown fuse that is located in the car and it was a red 15 amp fuse and it was blown, so I replaced it and so far it has lasted but I did not try and put the fan on #4.

Any ideas on what to look for elsewhere, and what may be causing this problem.

Thanks,
Guy.

Off the top of my head, you might need a new fan switch or fan or both.

I postedthat the fuse was a 15 amp. It wasn't, it's a 10 amp. I'm kinda leaning toward the thought that the fuse wasn't the right amperage.

Question

I am out of town and don't have my Bentley with me, but I'm sure someone on here can look it up and tell you what it is supposed to be. However, something blew the correct one to begin with!
