Default NB has mild heat stroke ?

It is 96 degrees, heat index of 113, back in the old days we just said it's real hot ! Anyway, I have been driving in this for three hours. 20 miles from home I make a wrong turn and have to turn around. At the stop sign the car dies. Acts like it is staving for fuel. After a minute or two ,it fires up and runs fine until I am about a mile from home, and it dies 4 more times. I let the car set for 3 hrs. I put the key in and hear the fuel pump hum and pressureize the fuel lines. I start it up and let it run for 15min. and the drive to the store and back. Car seems to be ok. What could this be? I need to find out what happend befor I take another road trip.

Scan it for codes and post them here, anything else is just guessing and that can get real expensive real quick...

Unless the red light was going off I doubt it was really ambient heat related. But scan for codes and post em here.
