Default P.S. Fluid

Hey all...Just wondering if we have to use the factory ( Pentozin ) fluids in our brake,and power steering reservoirs,or,if there is a substitute we can use. Thanks

I did some research on this problem before. Here's the results:

Power Steering: ONLY USE THE OE FLUID!!! None of the aftermarket is compatible with the steering rack seal and will cause leakage.

Brake fluid: Aftermarket products work but make sure it's DOT4. VW cars are not compatible with DOT3 fluid. Also DOT5 has different base with DOT3&4 so if you wanna use DOT5 you need to do a complete flush.
