Signal Lights stopped working.

Hello, my signal lights just stopped working. Sometimes they come on for a second or two and then turn off and sometimes they don't come on at all. I was told it could be the main switch on the steering column. Is there something else that can cause this? A relay that I can check someplace. What about a loose/dirty bulb.

Yes there is another possibility that the relay is bad. The turn signal relay is actually the harzard switch assembly. Try turn on the harzard light(the dual flash), if it works good then it's the combination switch. If it doesn't work then it's the harzard switch assembly that needs replacement. It's likely to be around $110 from the dealer.
