Anyone know if the stored DTC readouts on the V-Checker Basic are in the order of occurance! I would assume them to be, but...

Can't find my instructions.

Thanks,

M.

Hey, I cannot answer your question directly; as I do not have one of those scanners (I have a vagcom) but you can download the instruction manual here: http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edoc/VW-Manual.pdf

Well no mention, and no mention of a way to request a timeline or time stamp. Pretty much all Greek to me anyway, however. Lot to learn, I can see. Terminology first.

I don't know abut the vcheck but the vagcom; checks each computer in a specific sequence and then displays each; then shows any trouble codes association with each sub section of the cars computers. The vagcom doesn't give any indication of "when" the faults occurred; afaik, just that they caused a fault code... I wouldn't think the vcheck would either. On the vagcom; you can do live data while you are driving or car running... that can be shown in graph form... another way to show data.
