Default AC help

hi there im new to the site and the beetle world.. bought a 1999 beetle 2.0l for the wife this evening... when i went to look at the car for the first time the ac blew cold...when i came back later to buy the beetle it still blew cold but when i drove it for a while after buying the car it started to blow warm like if i pressed the ac button.. i went outside a little bit ago and its blowing cold agin so i left it on and drove it down the street and came back and still blowing cold...im confused,what could it be? thanks for any feedback

Have you driven it just as long as you did when it blew warm before? How long were you driving? Did it stay warm when you were driving or did it get cold again?

no i only drove it for 5 min. in those 5 min it blew cold.

Drive it a similar distance and see if it does it again. I have seen threads about the AC blowing warm after a longer period of driving. But might have just been a fluke too.
