Default oil in my coolant

Well when I bought the car it had a hole in the lower radiator hose. so I changed the upper and lower hoses. last night I smelled antifreeze again...another hole, my fault never put the hose in that little clamp next to the oil filter, it rubbed on something and put a hole in it. Started working on it today and oil in the coolant. Hope it is the oil cooler, found a Golf in my cousins junkyard...about to go loot the cooler out of it...call VW, they want $208 and won't have it until Wednesday/ ebay $33. w/ free shipping. I am going for the free one first...wish me luck

I hope that fixes it, at first I thought you said you had coolant in your oil.

An all day event...will post pictures later. Took off the oil cooler off of a 94 Golf...flushed everything, hoses, reservoir, radiator...oil was everywhere. Put on oil cooler and everything else...filled up oil and coolant...ran for about a half hour, checking and re checking. Unreal...problem fixed.
