2001 AVH coil cracked
My girlfriend's 2001 AVH 2.0 has a cracked coil pack. I've checked around and the AVH is twice to 3 times the price of an AEG coil pack. The car has 263,000 miles on it and she doesn't want to put too much into the car since it also needs a muffler and has a vacuum leak I still need to track down.
Can I replace the AVH pack with the AEG pack?

Does your coil pack have the four plugs in a row or at all four corners? The AEG coil has the plugs at all corners. The two coils have different plugs for the contol wires.

The AVH has 4 in a row which is what the car has. I was hoping that the AEG had the same controller functions with just a different plug configuration. I guess this is not the case. Thanks.
