i think it comes with a chip and a few goodies. the $2k or whatever it costs includes alot fo stuff last i checked. neuspeed's site should list the stuff the kit includes. If you find it out, post it.

well i hear that the supercharger is a lot more reliable and i really dont want to deal with all the problems the turbo brings. so i was just wondering what people thought about their super charger. ur sig says you have a 2.0 what you got in it to pill a 15.9. now what im really wondering is will i need to do any thing with my head in order to make it work beter with the charger. enging has 57k on it

it only says that it comes with a a supercharger P flow chip. my fear is that will up the compression too much and ill end up blowing a head gasket or worse the head

You make no sense.

A chip isn't going to up your compression. All it's going to do is adjust the air/fuel curve for the supercharger and make provisions so you don't get a CEL.

Once you get the car running on the Nospeed program, try finding an Upsolute rep. I had a custom map on my S/C'ed 2K4 Jetta and I gained 19whp over the Nospeed program.

Neuspeed designs the kit to be 100% reliable at 7 or 9psi. However, if you want more power...you must be brave like I was (and still would be if I had my Jetta).

Mods I would also do if not done already:
-catback exhaust of at least 2.25" in diameter (2.5" is preferred as you're now going FI)
-neuspeed 260 cam (7hp extra) OR techtonics 266 cam/springs (11hp extra)

The supercharger has a lot of reserve...most of it's built into the ultra-conservative programming. Get Upsolute to possibly make you a custom map and you'll be guaranteed to love it.

The kit is complete as can be (right down to a custom P-Flo designed for the charger), so have no fear in terms of needing to buy anything...you won't.

While you're at it, you should do a timing belt as well...you'll have the motor half-apart.

yea ill do that and the water pump too as i here those tend to be crap at like 70k. so if i do the upsolute thing am i looking at like another 300 or what? i do plan on doing a cam and a exhaust in time but do you suggest the TT cam and springs or what. if i start getting away from the neuspeed stuff would you say that i will be losing much reliability? i really dont have the money for it to crap its pants all the time.

I ran a 266 cam/springs and the custom map since new (put 40k on the car in 9 months).

Never had any problems.

The custom map was a little more than $300, I remember that...I'll talk to my guy who was able to do that. Rocketchip also does custom maps, and I think his map might be way better.
